- Volunteers Needed!
We’ll need lots of hands on deck to make the Festival the best possible. Here are the basic jobs that need to be staffed on show day. Even though September seems a long way off, we’d like to get volunteers scheduled as soon as we can. Thanks for submitting your Volunteer Form online NOW at SignUpGenius.com.
Hang Quilts: Work in a small team from 7 – 9 a.m. to hang quilts. No experience needed.
Quilt Ambassadors: Oversee a small section of downtown Winslow Way for a two hour shift to greet guests and keep an eye on the quilts. This is great fun because everyone is so excited about the quilts. You will wear a bright apron so folks can find you and have gloves to turn quilts for visitors. You will also have ballots for the Viewer's Choice prize. Everyone likes to vote!
You will be on your feet for the entire time. If you want to partner with a friend, add this information.
Quilt Take Down: Work in a team to take quilts down at end of show. Hours are 5:00 PM until quilts are down. No experience needed.
Raffle Ticket Sales/Information Table: Three to four person team to sell raffle tickets and collect Viewer's Choice ballots at the information table on Festival day.
Quilts On-Call: This is the Emergency Squad on show day. Involves responding to quilt emergencies and various other requests. You may need to tote a ladder.
